REALITY

'Reality' is a 1972 bookwork (published originally in Posnan) by the artist Jarowslaw Kozlowski.

It comprises a section of Immanuel Kant's Critique of Pure Reason, with the text removed, leaving only the punctuation.

I believe the section is from book II, Chapter III:

"THE GROUND OF THE DISTINCTION OF ALL OBJECTS INTO PHENOMENA AND NOUMENA"

Hence the title Noumena. The noumenon is Kant's famous 'thing in itself'.
But it is used in this context to refer to the underlying structure of things.
In this case it is the underlying structure of language that is being looked at.
The punctuation is what makes the structure of the sentences.

If I'm right, that was what Kozlowski was referring to when he chose this particular passage from Kant.
